The Appointment Ceremony of Dr. Xuanjun Fang as Visiting Professor of Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University as well as Academic Symposium were Held

Recently, the appointment ceremony of Dr. Xuanjun Fang as visiting professor of Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University was held in the conference room of administration building, and an academic symposium was followed. President Daojin Shi, vice president Wenli Li, and the deputy secretary of the college party committee Yonghua Cai attended the appointment ceremony, which was presided by the director of Biological Environment Department.



At the appointment ceremony, Daojin Shi, on behalf of the college, awarded Dr. Xuanjun Fang the visiting professor, and expressed his thanks to Professor for his supporting the development of the academy. He pointed out that appointing Dr. Xuanjun Fang as visiting professor has important significance in accelerating the construction of subject specialty in the college, improving teaching and scientific research level and academic status, and promoting academic exchanges at home and abroad.

Yonghua Cai briefly introduced the academic achievements and basic situation of professor Xuanjun Fang. He hoped that the related disciplines should seize this opportunity of Fang’s joining in academy, to create ideas, innovate mechanisms, strengthen ties, improve level and promote the sustainable and healthy development of the cause.

After the ceremony, Professor Xuanjun Fang presented an academic report with the topic of “A new dream, starting from Jiyang” for the teachers, introduced his research projects and development model, and actively encouraged the young teachers to join his research team. At the same time, he expressed his gratitude for the support and great kindness of Jiyang College, and also said he would play his specialty to make contribution to the development of the College. During the academic report, professor Xuanjun Fang made exchanges with the participating teachers on the related issues.
